Connecting Cultures for Peace: The Lumbini World Peace Exhibition in Cambodia

In July 2019, the Lumbini World Peace Forum took a monumental step in advancing global harmony by organizing the “Lumbini World Peace Exhibition” in Battambang, Cambodia, in close cooperation with the Sangker Gallery. This initiative, celebrated the deep-rooted bilateral relationship, mutual trust, and shared Asian culture between Nepal—the sacred birthplace of Shakyamuni Buddha—and Cambodia, a nation equally rich in religious and cultural heritage. By bringing together dedicated Nepali and Cambodian artists, the exhibition serves as a vibrant, living platform to spread Buddha’s eternal teachings of peace, love, compassion, and empathy. Through this inspiring cultural exchange, we continue our core mission to bridge nations, promote peaceful coexistence, and internalize these innate moral values to help build a more harmonious and peaceful society worldwide.
