On March 26, 2023, the Lumbini World Peace Forum, in collaboration with its partners, successfully hosted the historic World Green Human Wall event at The British College (ECA Ground) in Lalitpur. This extraordinary 26-minute gathering served as an official World Book of Records attempt and a powerful, unified call to action for our “1 Million Trees Plantation and Conservation Initiative” a decade-long movement dedicated to restoring nature to Nepal’s urban and rural spaces while aggressively combating carbon emissions and deforestation. By bringing together dedicated volunteers, local community members, and environmental experts, the event celebrated a major milestone of over 20,000 trees successfully planted across the nation. The World Green Human Wall beautifully demonstrated that community-driven solidarity is the ultimate catalyst for fostering a healthier, cleaner, and more climate-resilient future for all.
