On 21 September 2019, Lumbini World Peace Forum (LWPF) commemorated the International Day of Peace in Kathmandu under the global theme “Climate Action for Peace.” The celebration brought together artists, youth, peace advocates, and members of the community through an inspiring art awareness program and a peace vigil, highlighting the vital connection between environmental sustainability and lasting peace. Through creative expression and collective reflection, participants promoted the message that protecting our planet is fundamental to building peaceful and resilient societies, reaffirming LWPF’s commitment to advancing peace, climate action, and community engagement.
